LeChase History

Since Raymond F. LeChase founded LeChase Construction in 1944, the LeChase name has been synonymous with building construction.

When R. Wayne LeChase succeeded his father as president and CEO of LeChase in 1981, the shift in leadership introduced a fresh management style that reinvigorated the company and attracted an abundance of extremely qualified construction talent. In 1997, Wayne became managing partner and he appointed William (Bill) H. Goodrich as chief operating officer. Bill was then promoted to president in 2002, CEO in 2007 and managing partner in 2008. As CEO and managing partner, Bill is responsible for setting the strategic direction of the organization, defining the culture, promoting a safe and healthy work environment and engaging customers. Bill’s passion for excellence is keenly focused on maintaining the company’s core philosophies. Currently as chairman, Wayne continues to play an active role in shaping the firm’s strategy.
