Lee D. Sommerman is a construction professional with more than 20 years of industry experience in all phases of construction from concept development to implementation and commissioning. As regional operations manager, Lee utilizes his extensive knowledge and expertise to further enhance LeChase’s client service capabilities, concentrating on operations and growth in Rochester, Buffalo and the surrounding area. He joined LeChase in 1995 and was promoted to his current role in 2012.
Lee currently serves on the board for the American Red Cross of Greater Rochester and has been a tireless fundraising volunteer for the March of Dimes for more than a decade.
He holds a B.S degree in Civil Engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology, where he now helps inspire and educate future construction professionals as a part-time adjunct professor. Lee also earned an A.A.S. degree in Architecture from Alfred State, the State University of New York College of Technology; a Leadership in Energy and Environmental (LEED®) Accredited Professional certification from the U.S. Green Building Council and is a graduate of the Green Building Contractor’s (GBC) Future Construction Leaders of New York State, a year-long program where a select group of construction leaders learn about a variety of industry-related issues.
