On Monday July 18, members of the LeChase team joined the Seneca Park Zoo in unveiling the new Trailside Café. Located across from the playground, the newly opened facility provides a space for zoo guests to take a break indoors and enjoy a wide variety of locally sourced food, and grab-and-go items.
The 8,500-SF, two-story facility features a full-service catering kitchen, space for special events, a 200-SF walk-in cooler, a 200-SF walk-in freezer and dry-storage space. The second story contains a quick-service kitchen, dessert bar with seating, and outdoor seating as well.
LeChase President Will Mack attended the event alongside representatives from Monroe County and zoo leaders. This is the most recent project completed through the partnership between the Seneca Park Zoo and LeChase. In 2018 we collaborated with the zoo on the Animals of the Savanna Expansion, which was a five-acre expansion of A Step into Africa.
