LeChase is Agency CM for a $43,500 million capital improvement project getting underway at the Waverly Central School District.
The program involves work across various district buildings, including installation of air conditioning at the Waverly High School (HS) and Middle School (MS), as well as the Lincoln Street and Elm Street elementary schools.
One key effort will involve combining the HS/MS gyms to create a wellness center. The MS gym roof will be raised to install an elevated track, and existing locker rooms will be reconfigured the create team rooms and a fitness area.
The HS and MS will also get new turf baseball and softball fields, and crews will renovate a current shop space into a STEAM center.
Additional work at the elementary schools includes a new secure vestibule at Elm Street, while Lincoln Street will get a new playground, canopies, and renovations to accommodate relocation of district office from the HS/MS facility.
