On May 24, LeChase joined in a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening of UR Medicine’s Ambulatory Surgery Center at Marketplace Mall. This phase of the Orthopaedics and Physical Performance Center project includes operating rooms, advanced imaging services and procedure suite that are now open for use.
LeChase CEO and Managing Partner Bill Goodrich spoke at the event, touching on the importance of this project to the Rochester community. “For the U of R to make this investment in this community, this region and this facility, to provide excellent care – world-class care – is good for all of us,” he noted. “We’re so proud to be part of this partnership with the University of Rochester.”
LeChase is the construction manager on the project, which when completed, will be the largest, most complete orthopaedic facility in the Northeastern U.S. The new 330,000-SF facility will enable patients with bone and joint conditions to receive state-of-the-art treatments.
The last phase of the project, a new patient tower, is scheduled to be completed late this year.
