Over the past several months, LeChase Project Executive Ken Osmun has been mentoring a student at the Rochester Institute of Technology on the topic of sustainable design and construction.
Luisa Velocci – an interior design student working on her senior capstone project, Nature of the Space, Dynamic Learning Environments for Prioritizing Student Wellness — was connected with Ken, who has since acted as one of her committee members for the project. Ken helped guide Luisa by sharing his industry expertise in the area of innovation and sustainability – most specifically focusing on WELL concepts and biophilic design.
LeChase has partnered with RIT on a number of projects and initiatives over the years, and is currently working on the school’s new Music Performance Theater. That project is expected to be completed in December of 2025.
