During the University of Rochester’s spring semester, LeChase partnered with the Simon Business School to provide guidance for graduate students in the business analytics program working on their capstone projects.
Approximately 15 students participated in the program, working on their projects from January to May. The students were divided into five teams, each coached by John Handley, an adjunct professor at the school. Each team conducted a unique analysis of company-wide, regional and project-specific data provided by LeChase and revealed their findings during the final presentations.
LeChase Senior Vice President Jim McKenna and Director of Finance Evan Owens held Q&A sessions throughout the semester to help guide the students and provide their insights. Evan also attended the students’ final presentations along with Barb Sutorius, Cheryl Colavecchio and Patrick Coleman.
