Project Scope
The Lipsey Architecture Center Buffalo (LACB) is set to transform Building 12 on the historic Richardson-Olmsted Campus into a vibrant hub for architecture and design. The project includes the adaptive reuse of the historic building and the construction of a new addition. Once completed, the center will feature exhibition spaces, community and education areas, staff offices, a gift shop, and essential support facilities like restrooms and storage.
The design emphasizes sustainability, energy efficiency, and flexibility to accommodate future growth. Construction will soon be underway, breathing new life into this historic site while providing a modern space for learning, collaboration, and community engagement.
