Mohawk Harbor project reaches milestone with beam signing, topping out

On October 15, LeChase celebrated placement of the final beam on the Mohawk Harbor Event Center project. During a topping out ceremony, members of the project team had the opportunity to sign the project’s final beam before it was hoisted into place.

The nearly 100,000-SF event center will feature a 2,200-seat ice hockey rink, which will be the home of the Union College men’s and women’s hockey teams. The facility will also include new locker rooms, concession areas and suites, and will have the capacity to host various events, trade shows, and conventions.

LeChase is serving as the design-builder for the project, which is expected to be completed by fall 2025.
