To celebrate Careers in Construction Month, LeChase participated in career fairs and other events across our regions.
- In Rochester, members of the LeChase team attended the “GLOW with Your Hands” career exploration event at the Genesee County Fairgrounds, the Rochester Institute of Technology Civil Engineering and Construction Industry Career Fair, and Rochester Careers in Construction Day.
- The Central New York team connected with students at Syracuse University and SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry at their fall 2024 career and internship fairs. Project Executive Matt Wood also gave a presentation to students at Onondaga Community College.
- In the New York Capital Region, the team attended career fairs at Union College, the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and Utica University.
- LeChase’s Corning team attended a career fair at Alfred State.
- In the Southeast, LeChase participated in career fairs across North Carolina, connecting with students at East Carolina University and the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
Through all of these events, LeChase had the opportunity to meet thousands of students and share the many different career paths available within the construction industry.
