Bartell Machinery Systems, LLC | Manufacturing Plant Addition

This $3.7 million project consisted of a 23,000 SF addition to Bartell’s manufacturing plant. This addition included a 50’ high bay production area, three loading docks, a 20’ by 170’ covered delivery ramp and a 12’ by 85’ enclosed walkway connecting the plant to the adjacent research & development building.

This scope of work included:

• A new 1,600 amp, three-phase electrical service
• Four 30–ton, under–slung, overhead cranes with dual lift programming
• 2’ thick structural floor slab
• 10’ by 20’ by 8’ deep test pits with traffic bearing and removable covers
• 400 CFM Ingersoll Rand, 500-gallon compressed air distribution system
• Dual power equipment test stations, which allowed the plant the capability to simulate European voltage (480V/60Hz domestic and 380V/50Hz foreign for overseas customers)
