Rochester, N.Y., January 23, 2019 – LeChase Construction Services, LLC is pleased to announce the promotion of Lee Sommerman to vice president.
In his role, Sommerman leads efforts to expand LeChase’s business in the Rochester area. He oversees local operations, projects and opportunities with a goal of delivering services that meet or exceed client expectations.
“Lee has built strong relationships within the community, and is a great ambassador for LeChase with clients, business partners and employees,” said Kyle Sayers, LeChase executive vice president and chief operating officer. “When you couple that with his experience in all facets of construction, he is well suited to manage our operations across Greater Rochester.”
A career-long LeChase employee, Sommerman joined the company as a project engineer in 1995 after graduating from Rochester Institute of Technology with a B.S. degree in civil engineering. He also has an A.A.S. degree in architecture from Alfred State College and LEED AP® certification from the U.S. Green Building Council. In 2002, he completed the Future Construction Leaders program offered by the Associated General Contractors of New York.
