Armonk gets 100% on CPR/AED/first aid training

Most people would feel good about being ‘almost perfect’ in any endeavor. The Armonk team, however, didn’t settle for ‘almost’ – achieving 100% participation in recent CPR/AED and first aid training. Over the course of two weeks, every member of the office and field staff took part in the interactive training.

Outside instructors Ron Benson and Eric Singer taught the courses, bringing a wealth of real-world experience. Ron is a New York State EMS instructor, 22-year Rye Brook firefighter and an EMT with the Cortlandt Ambulance Corp; Eric is a captain at the Cortlandt Ambulance Corp and has been an EMT for more than 30 years. Given the LeChase audience, they focused a good amount of the class on treating accidents on a job site.

The most important result of the training was that – with Ron and Eric encouraging participation and patiently answering numerous questions – everyone walked away confident they would be able to provide proper care in the event of an emergency.
