A beam signing was held on November 5 for the Highland Hospital South tower project. As crews complete work on the steel structure of the four-story, 80,000-SF vertical expansion in December, the signed beam will be the final piece placed at top.
LeChase is construction manager for the expansion project. It is being built over the existing surgical services, operating rooms and observation unit. The new space will provide approximately 58 private patient rooms on three floors and one floor for future build-out. About 10,000 SF of renovations will also occur in the existing building to accommodate the demolition needed to connect to the new tower.
At the ceremony, guests – including LeChase Regional Operations Manager Kevin Hoffman (center image) – sign the final beam.
