LeChase Buffalo team members Dan Rauscher, Tony Kozlowski and John Gianadda recently participated in a career fair at the Boys and Girls Club in Holland, N.Y. Melinda Hoffman from software company Autodesk joined the team to help show students some of the technology used on construction sites with the students.
Using virtual reality (VR), iPads and other tools, the team walked students through elements of the current Sturges Hall renovation project at SUNY Geneseo. Students had the opportunity to virtually explore the project, identify potential issues and ask the team questions about the construction process.
The event provided a valuable opportunity to educate students about the industry and share information about what a career in construction could look like.
