To celebrate Construction Safety Week, the LeChase’s Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools team sponsored a breakfast or morning break for all project sites.
The construction managers on each site spoke on different topics from excavations to temporary electrical, and the LeChase team thanked everyone onsite for the hard work they do every day to keep people safe.
The team discussed the concept of “See Something, Say Something” reminding everyone that they have the power to act on safety. They also emphasized that everyone on a project site has “Stop Work Authority” empowering them to stop work if they see a hazard that poses imminent danger to themselves or others. The team closed with a conversation on PPE requirements.
