On Friday, July 21, the Colonial Quad project celebrated a safety milestone, marking 75,000 work hours without a lost-time incident. A cookout was held to thank the nearly 50 subcontractors who worked together to ensure that safety was the number one priority on the job. LeChase team members hosting the event were Project Executive Tim Hanke, Project Manager Kaleigh Kupiec, Superintendent Rick Elsenbeck and Project Engineer Brent Bocheneck.
LeChase, through its Capital Region office, is the prime general contractor for the $37.8 million project, which consists of a complete renovation of an existing dormitory at the University at Albany. Work is set to be completed in the spring of 2024.
