LeChase’s Corning office celebrated the company’s 75th anniversary on July 25 by hosting a golf scramble and cocktail reception as part of Corning Country Club’s Centennial Celebration.
CEO and Managing Partner Bill Goodrich and President Will Mack attended the event, along with LeChase employees, clients and other community partners. During the celebration, State Senator Thomas F. O’Mara and State Assemblyman Philip A. Palmesano presented the company with a proclamation commemorating the anniversary and recognizing the company’s long history of service in the area.
LeChase opened its Corning office in 1996. Since then, the company has built a variety of local projects. The list even includes the clubhouse at the Corning Country Club – completed about 20 years ago. Notable recent projects in the area include the Schlumberger Technology Corporation Northeast District Office, renovations to Alfred State College’s MacKenzie Hall and the Miller Performing Arts Center at Alfred University.
“We’re proud to celebrate this milestone of 75 years in business as it represents our flexibility in an ever-changing construction services industry,” said LeChase Vice President Fred Thompson, who leads the Corning operations. “Our success and longevity are due not only to the ongoing advancements and continuous innovation of our services, but also to the forward-thinking people who have made it possible.”
