On August 18, more than a dozen LeChase volunteers helped the Durham Rescue Mission get local children ready for school. The Mission’s annual Back to School Pep Rally distributed backpacks filled with school supplies, and also offered food, prize drawings and access to free clothing.
About 2,000 people attended the event. The LeChase team helped staff the walk-up tent where they distributed backpacks, bag lunches and groceries.
