Earlier in September, the 300 Block Parking Garage project hosted a visit from the North Carolina Department of Labor (NCDOL). The visit was part of LeChase’s participation in the NCDOL Building Star program, which recognizes contractors who have implemented effective health and safety programs.
As a participant, LeChase annually conducts a walk-through on one of its project sites. During the visit, an NCDOL Star Consultant offers suggestions and comments. This year, NCDOL Star Consultant Morgan Brown toured the garage, which is being built in downtown Durham. Everyone did a great job, with no recommendations or corrections resulting from the visit.
