Employees Hike to Feed Kids

Employees in the Syracuse office recently took a “walk in the country” to raise funds for the Foodbank of the Southern Tier. The LeChase team had nine walkers who hiked in Ithaca’s Treman State Park to benefit the Foodbank’s Backpack Program – aimed at putting food in the backpacks of kids who may not have enough to eat over weekends and holidays. Employees raised $460 which the company matched for a total $920 donation. That’s enough to feed more than 300 kids for a weekend, or 8 kids for almost a whole school year.
