On Friday, July 19, Chairman Wayne LeChase and CEO and Managing Partner Bill Goodrich visited the Fairlife project in Webster, NY, where LeChase crews were hard at work completing another large concrete pour. Wayne and Bill spent time talking with the project team and self-perform crews working on the dairy processing plant.
Crews arrived on-site on early as 2:30 a.m., with the first concrete truck arriving to start pouring at 4:00 a.m. By noon, a total of 820 cubic yards of concrete had been poured, and finishing was completed by 3:00 p.m., marking 11 hours of continuous effort. The finished 9,000-SF slab is 28 inches thick.
The Fairlife team will be completing many more sizable pours over the course of the project.
