LeChase is once again talking with potential hires and interns, as colleges hold their spring career fairs.
This year, for the first time, the company visited St. John Fisher’s event – speaking with multiple students interested in opportunities in human resources, finance and marketing. Patty Niedermaier of HR, Ann VanAuken from risk management, Kara Mancuso of finance and Tim Schirmer and Max Fisher – both from marketing – represented LeChase for the day.
At Alfred State, Corning Project Manager Paul Cody has attended both fall and spring career fairs for the past several years. This time, he again brought Mike Goddard, Corning project engineer, and added Cheryl Schmidt of corporate organizational development. According to Paul, even though traffic was a bit lighter than in previous career fairs at the school, the trio did meet with some promising students.
For both Max and Mike an Mike, the events not only provided an opportunity to talk about their work at LeChase, but also a chance to visit their old campuses: Max graduated from Fisher with a degree in marketing in 2016, the same year Mike received his degree in construction management engineering technology from Alfred State.
