ROCHESTER, N.Y., September 14, 2015—LeChase Construction Services, LLC is pleased to announce the promotion of Barbara S. Sauer to corporate controller, based in its Rochester headquarters.
In her new role, Sauer will be primarily responsible for day-to-day accounting operations and help enhance, monitor and enforce the firm’s financial policies, procedures, internal control compliance and external reporting. She will also be responsible for oversight of special projects and financial planning and analysis.
“During her tenure with LeChase, Barb has brought the highest levels of integrity and professionalism to her work, and has emerged as a true leader in our finance department,” says LeChase Executive Vice President and CFO Chuck Caranci. “I am confident that she will continue playing an integral role in the future growth and success of our organization.”
Sauer joined LeChase in 2011 as assistant corporate controller. Prior to her role with the firm, she served as CFO and vice president of finance and administration at Rochester Museum & Science Center where she successfully managed a multimillion-dollar balance sheet and oversaw all financial, human resources and risk management functions. Sauer earned an MBA from Rochester Institute of Technology and a B.S. in Accounting from St. John Fisher College. She is active in numerous local civic and nonprofit organizations, and resides in Webster.
