Western New York’s M/WBEs, SBEs, DBEs, SDVOBEs, etc., are invited to network with industry-leading firm’s key team members and learn about bidding opportunities
BUFFALO, N.Y., May 17, 2016 – LeChase Construction Services, LLC is hosting an “XBE” Meet & Greet session on Tuesday, May 24 from 3 to 5 p.m. at The Foundry (1738 Elmwood Avenue, Buffalo NY 14207) in an effort to connect with industry-related Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprises (M/WBEs), Small Business Enterprises (SBEs), Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs), and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business Enterprises (SDVOBEs) in the Western New York region.
Launched last year, the more than 70-year-old firm’s XBE Program aims to promote an inclusive vendor community and help develop opportunities for small, socially or economically disadvantaged construction-related businesses which various government programs were developed to benefit. The “X” in XBE encompasses all of the aforementioned business enterprise acronyms that currently fall into this category.
All area subcontractors and vendors are invited to attend the two-hour networking session where key LeChase team members will deliver information about the firm’s history, safety program, prequalification process, commitment to diversity and current and upcoming bidding opportunities. Interested attendees are strongly encouraged to bring information about their businesses, such as company brochures, business cards, applicable service areas throughout New York State and capability statements. Light refreshments will be served and a free raffle drawing is also planned.
