On March 31, LeChase’s Corning office hosted a site tour for the Board of Cooperative Educational Services (BOCES) career development council. The tour, of a Horseheads Central School District project, provided the teachers an opportunity to see a real project in progress and learn more about construction careers. During the visit, the teachers were able to ask LeChase representatives about the construction process.
LeChase is the general contractor for the Horseheads project, which involves site improvements, a new main entrance, new classrooms and a library addition, as well as renovations to existing classrooms, a kitchen and cafeteria. Project completion is scheduled for fall of 2022.
