On Wednesday, June 28, LeChase held an interactive training session on cleanroom construction. More than 50 LeChase employees from multiple regions – Rochester, Central New York, NY Capital Region, Corning and Buffalo – attended the training at the Central New York office, with presentations from LeChase cleanroom experts and hands-on equipment demonstrations by Stark Tech.
Senior Vice President Lee Sommerman kicked off the training, emphasizing the importance of investing in training opportunities for the LeChase team. He noted that this training is especially important with the growing advanced manufacturing industry in the Central New York area and across NYS.
Project Executives Ken Osmun and Sean Hoban presented on the fundamentals of cleanroom construction technologies including LeChase’s “THINK CLEAN” philosophy, which avoids activities that are likely to create debris and contaminants. Attendees left the training with knowledge of cleanliness levels, protocol stages and ISO standards required in the cleanroom construction process.
Attendees cycled through three different stations and gained hands-on product knowledge about room envelope systems, critical room controls and treatment of supply air for cleanrooms.
This training was a great opportunity for the LeChase team to learn more about cleanrooms and prepare to support cleanroom projects in the future.
