On October 22, LeChase hosted the first annual EmpowerHER Expo in collaboration with SUNY Brockport, the New York Small Business Development Center and the U.S. Small Business Administration. The event titled Where Business Meets Balance: Empowering Women to Thrive, brought together women across industries to network, share insights and explore strategies for personal and professional growth.
The panel discussion featured local leaders Michelle Schleher, president and CEO of AAC Contracting; Chloe Anderson-Adeyemi, business advisor with the SUNY Brockport SBDC; Stephanie Armstrong, co-founder of Moxie Creative Studios; and Dr. Darson Rhodes, interim associate dean at SUNY Brockport. Each panelist shared their personal experiences and offered valuable advice for women navigating the business world. President of the Monroe County Legislature Yversha Roman delivered the keynote speech and moderated the panel.
Around 75 people attended the event. A portion of the event proceeds will benefit the Rochester Breast Cancer Coalition.
