On Friday, March 10, LeChase hosted members of the NAWIC Triangle Chapter for a Hard Hat Tour of the Erwin Terrace project.
After kicking-off the event with coffee and breakfast, LeChase project team members led the group through the in-progress project site. The tour started in the lower parking deck, went up to the second and then fifth floor and then back down to the amenity spaces.
At this stage, the building is weathertight with finished roof and windows, allowing the group to walk through several of the individual units. One attendee commented “This is the cleanest project site I’ve ever seen!” With safety in mind, the team thought through trip hazards ahead of drywall installation and all cords and hoses are hung up along the wall on stands instead of running along the floors.
The Erwin Terrace project includes a two-story, 41,637-SF cast-in-place parking deck serving as the podium for the five-story, 155,933-SF wood-framed multi-family structure featuring 156 market-rate apartment units. Amenities include a leasing office, fitness center, pool, and courtyards.
Thank you to the Erwin Terrace project team – John Tomcik, Allen Franklin, Arthur Boone, Nadine Letourneau, Tesa Silver and Alex Jovel – for making this tour possible!
