LeChase Project Executive Kailly Mintel recently found herself 240 feet off the ground. Harnessed and equipped with protective gear, she was ready to rappel down the exterior of Kodak Office tower in Rochester. It was part of 21 Stories for Scouts, an annual fundraiser for the Boy Scouts’ Seneca Waterways Council.
Mintel was one of 81 people who descended the tower this year. LeChase and HB Cornerstone, both currently working on a 90,000-SF expansion at The Strong National Museum of Play, joined the museum in forming a team for the event. Together, they raised more than $6,500, giving several brave team members – including Mintel – the unique opportunity.
“This was a great way to connect with other Strong team members that I don’t see every day on the construction site,” she noted.
In all, this year’s 21 Stories for Scouts event raised over $90,000 for scouting programs.
