Corning, N.Y., July 10, 2019 – LeChase Construction Services, LLC is pleased to announce the promotion of Chris Havens to project manager in its Corning office.
In this role, Havens will manage, develop, maintain and oversee all functions of assigned projects at the preconstruction, construction and post-construction phases. Those functions include but are not limited to safety, construction planning and cost-control procedures.
In 2012, Havens received a bachelor’s degree in architectural engineering, with an emphasis on construction management, from Penn State University. He worked for firms in Pennsylvania and Ohio before joining LeChase as a project engineer in 2017. Since then, he has worked on the expansion and renovation of UPMC Chautauqua Hospital in Jamestown, N.Y.
Havens earned LEED AP® BD+C accreditation from the U.S. Green Building Council and has EIT (Engineer-in-Training) certification. He currently lives in Painted Post, NY.
