CORNING, N.Y., July 21, 2014—LeChase Construction Services, LLC is pleased to announce the promotion of Fredrick J. Thompson to vice president of its Corning office.
A respected leader, Thompson’s construction management experience spans nearly 15 years and multiple market sectors, including industrial, manufacturing, gas field, energy and education. He joined LeChase in 2000 as a project manager and was named project executive in 2005 and regional operations manager in 2008.

Thompson holds a B.S. in Construction Management Technology and an A.A.S. in Construction Engineering Technology from SUNY Alfred. He is also a graduate of the Green Building Contractor’s (GBC) Future Construction Leaders of New York state, a year-long program where a select group of future construction leaders network and learn about a variety of industry-related issues.
Thompson is a member of the Associated Contractors of America, the U.S. Green Building Council’s (USGBC) New York Chapter, the Corning Chamber of Commerce and serves as an Alfred State College curriculum advisor.
He is a lifelong native of the Southern Tier and resides in Woodhull with his wife Mickey and their three children.
