LeChase Construction Services, LLC has announced several key promotions in New York and North Carolina.
The following have been named senior vice presidents:
- Seth London, based in Durham, leads LeChase’s southeast region – overseeing efforts to expand the company’s business in North Carolina and the surrounding areas. He is responsible for managing client, employee and subcontractor relationships, as well as overseeing daily operations and ensuring projects meet or exceed expectations. London joined LeChase in the 2016 acquisition of Lendlease operations in North Carolina – bringing two decades of experience in all phases of building construction. He was named a vice president in 2018. He has an MBA in finance, as well as a BS in construction engineering and management, from North Carolina State University.
- Jim McKenna assumed leadership of LeChase’s Rochester operations in early 2024. He also continues to lead the company’s design-build efforts and to support the Real Estate Development team. He has 25 years of industry experience, and prior to joining LeChase in 2021 he served was VP of construction at a prominent commercial real estate development and management company. McKenna has a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Ohio University and is a certified Design-Build Professional® through the Design-Build Institute of America.
- Peter Muench joined LeChase 20 years ago as a project estimator, and worked his way through a number of positions before taking oversight of Preconstruction Services in 2015. In addition to continuing to lead the company’s preconstruction efforts, Muench supports LeChase’s ‘get work’ and business development efforts across New York State. Peter earned a B.S. in civil engineering technology from the Rochester Institute of Technology, and has Certified Healthcare Constructor accreditation from the American Hospital Association.
- Jim Scheirer joined LeChase as a project engineer in 1998. After working his way through various positions within the company, he was named a regional operations manager in 2019, and a vice president in 2020. In addition to managing relationships with key clients in Rochester, he oversees the company’s strategic relationship with Greenlight Networks and provides executive support for LeChase’s NY Capital Region operations. Scheirer has a B.S. in civil engineering technology from the Rochester Institute of Technology.
In other appointments:
- Dan Kramell has been named a vice president. Kramell serves as executive superintendent and director of field operations, responsible for self-perform operations on projects across Western New York and in other areas of the state as needed. He started his career in 1988 as a carpenter apprentice before working as a journeyman carpenter and foreman. He joined LeChase as a superintendent in 2003, was named director of field operations in 2012 and executive superintendent in 2021. At LeChase, he has worked on a variety of new construction and renovation projects in the health care, industrial, higher education and commercial sectors.
- Eric Colavecchio has been named a regional operations manager, focused on expanding LeChase’s self-perform and general contracting business in the Buffalo, Rochester, and Central New York regions. He will manage client, employee and subcontractor relationships, and oversee daily operations – ensuring projects meet or exceed client expectations for safety, quality and value. Colavecchio joined LeChase in 1999, and was named a project executive in 2017. He holds a BS degree in civil engineering technology from the Rochester Institute of Technology, and is an accredited professional through the U.S. Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) program.
- Steve Corletta has been named regional operations manager in the NY Metro office. Corletta will work to grow LeChase’s business in the greater NY metropolitan area, with responsibility for managing client, employee and subcontractor relationships, as well as overseeing daily operations and ensuring projects meet or exceed client expectations for safety, quality and value. Corletta began his construction career in 2001 after graduating from Binghamton University with a B.S. in mechanical engineering. He joined LeChase as a project manager in 2010, and was promoted to project executive in 2018 – transferring to the NY Metro area in 2022. Corletta holds LEED AP (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design) certification from the US Green Building Council.
