ALBANY, N.Y., March 13, 2018 – LeChase Construction Services, LLC is pleased to announce the promotion of Wayne Durand to regional safety director for eastern New York.
In this role, Durand will ensure the company’s safety program – which continues to target a goal of zero incidents – is consistent across all job sites and offices in the Syracuse, Capital and Tri-state areas of New York. Working with a team of regional and site safety managers in those areas, he will lead efforts around safety training, tracking and reporting.
Durand has more than 25 years of experience covering both residential and commercial construction. He joined LeChase in 2012 as a site safety manager and was promoted to regional safety manager in 2016. Durand has a B.S. in psychology and paralegal studies from Marist College (Poughkeepsie, N.Y.) and accreditation as a Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST).
