On February 2, the LeChase safety team hosted a hands-on training at the Rochester office for field operations employees. To provide a timely and comprehensive session, 10 different jobsites were shut down for the day. More than 60 field employees attended.
LeChase safety team members presented on topics including:
PPE care and use- Hazard communication
- Stairways and ladders
- Lead, asbestos and silica
- Respiratory protection
- Occupational noise and hearing protection
- Back safety & proper lifting
- THA review
- Respirator medical clearance and fit testing
- CPR and AED
This was the first of two training sessions. The second session is planned for the fall and will include additional hands-on topics.
