On August 21, LeChase sponsored and staffed a rest stop for bicyclists taking part in this year’s Tour de Keuka. An annual bike ride along scenic Keuka Lake, the Tour raised funds to benefit the United Way of the Southern Tier.
At the rest stop, volunteers handed out fruit, snacks, water and Gatorade to the riders. In total, 195 riders took part in the event, raising more than $90,000.
Thanks to Project Manager Mike Hogue for organizing LeChase’s participation, and to Lisa Hogue, Lisa Blide, Linda Knapp, Chris and Tammie Morelli, and Fred, Mickey, Davyn and DeLainey Thomspon for staffing the LeChase stop.
