On September 19, two dozen LeChase project managers and superintendents gathered in the Rochester office for the first session of the 2023 Field Excellence Program. Individuals participating in the program were nominated by unit leaders and came from 10 different regions. The program consists of three, two-day sessions that will take place over the next few months.
LeChase Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Kyle Sayers, and Vice President of People and Culture Cheryl Colavecchio kicked off the program and welcomed participants. This first session focused heavily on leadership and communication.
Participants completed challenges such as the “XY Game” and a block building activity which are meant to reinforce leadership and communication principles. The group discussed their DISC personality profiles and conflict styles and practiced presentation skills through group-based activities.
The next two-day session will be held in October.
