On Saturday, August 5, LeChase sponsored and staffed a rest stop for bicyclists taking part in the annual Tour de Keuka. The scenic bike ride features 45-, 60-, or 100-mile routes along Keuka Lake, and all funds raised benefit the United Way of the Southern Tier.
The LeChase rest stop team – Michael and Lisa Hogue, Sherry Gates, Mary Clair and Justin Hanna – passed out water and snacks to riders. More than 200 riders took part in this year’s event, including Chris Morelli and his wife Tammy, who finished the course on her own after Chris got a flat tire at mile 23.
