Rochester, N.Y., May 18, 2021 – LeChase Vice President James McKenna has earned Design-Build Professional® certification – further strengthening the firm’s resources and focus on the growing market for design-build services.
In a design-build project, design and construction firms work together under a single contract with an owner. McKenna joined LeChase earlier this year to lead the company’s pursuit and management of such opportunities. Prior to joining LeChase, McKenna spent 25 years in the real estate and construction industries, including ten years overseeing new project design and construction for a leading commercial development group.
His certification as a Design-Build Professional represents the highest standard of design-build best practices. Given by the Design-Build Institute of America, it requires several years of project experience, as well as successful completion of an extensive curriculum and exam.
