LeChase, in partnership with SGS, has been named construction manager for a new elementary school project in Durham. Construction of the facility is expected to begin in 2022 and finish in 2023.
“We look forward to partnering with Durham Public Schools and expanding our relationship with EVOKE Studio architects on this project,” noted Denny Mangum, LeChase project executive. Interestingly Mangum, as well as key project team members Brandt Smith and Denise Barnes, are all graduates of the district.
The project also marks another milestone in LeChase’s mentor-protégé relationship with minority-owned SGS. Smith, who leads SGS, will be lead project manager for construction of the school.
