LeChase Regional Director of Community Engagement and Inclusion Denise Barnes recently attended the National Association of Minority Contractors (NAMC) annual conference.
This year’s conference, themed Defending Our Legacy, Building the Future, focused on the current issues facing the industry, developing solutions and strategizing ways to improve inclusivity. The three-day event featured breakout sessions, engaging discussions and networking opportunities.
Denise, who currently serves as the board chair and president of the United Minority Contractors of North Carolina (UMCNC), a local chapter within NAMC, represented the North Carolina chapter at the event. She had the opportunity to connect with presidents from other state chapters.
