On January 24, LeChase Director of DEI & Supplier Diversity Stephanie Pennington was a panelist at the first annual Upstate New York Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprise (MWBE) Summit. Her panel focused on the topic of mentorship and how to guide MWBEs through their business journey.
Over 350 minority and women-owned businesses attended the full-day event, which was held at the Memorial Art Gallery in Rochester and focused on two key barriers that these businesses face: mentorship and financing. The event featured many speakers and presentations and provided opportunities for networking between MWBEs and summit sponsors.
As a sponsor, LeChase had a table at the event and was able to connect with many MWBE firms and share the opportunities for partnership at LeChase through our Supplier Diversity Program.
