LeChase’s Buffalo team recently completed the installation of a new, multi-purpose, synthetic turf field at Barker Central School District.
This marks the end of phase one of the $25.5 million capital project. The field was finished in time for students to return, and ahead of the first football game on September 6. In addition to the turf, the team made several other improvements to the field including new bleachers, a scoreboard, stadium lighting and dugouts for softball and baseball. The project also included two new tennis courts, new fencing and parking lot upgrades.
Beyond the site and athletic facility enhancements, the team also replaced the windows at the high school and the boilers at both the elementary and high schools.
