Highland Hospital | South Patient Tower Addition
This project features the construction of a four-story, 80,000-SF vertical expansion and penthouse, built above existing operating rooms and a surgical services observation unit that LeChase completed in 2016.
Throughout the duration of this $52 million project, the team has overcome numerous site constraints due to the proximity to the surrounding neighborhood, existing hospital, and limited material laydown area.
The newly expanded space provides approximately 58 new private patient rooms on three floors, with one floor dedicated for future build-out. Additionally, 10,000 SF of renovations were completed throughout in the existing building to accommodate the necessary steps to connect to the new tower.
