United Health Services | Wilson Medical Center New Main Tower & Renovation
As the first major project at the Wilson Medical Center in more than 30 years, this renovation and expansion marked a significant enhancement of the hospital’s facilities. The project included a 183,000-SF, six-story expansion to the active campus and 29,000 SF of renovations to the existing hospital.
The completed addition features four inpatient medical and surgical units – each with 30 private rooms – a new emergency department, a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) suite, a surgical support area and a rooftop helipad. The scope also included the creation of a new drive-up entrance on Main Street.
