Great progress is being made on the Bowers College of Computing and Information Science (CIS) building at Cornell University.
In the basement on the north side of the building, the team is completing conduit installation while also backfilling the space with a drainage layer of stone. A 6-inch concrete slab will be poured on top of the buried conduit once it is complete. Progress also continues on the south side of the building where the structural steel and metal deck is being installed.
LeChase is serving as the general contractor for the new 134,972-SF, four-story facility, which is expected to be complete in 2025.
