A June 27 ribbon cutting marked the grand opening of a mixed-used building at 1225 Niagara Street in Buffalo. The LeChase team in Buffalo acted as CM-at-Risk on the project, which involved historic preservation and adaptive reuse of the 150-year-old structure.
Work included complete interior and exterior renovation consistent with historic standards and local development plans and neighborhood initiatives. The property has 2,000 SF of commercial space on the ground floor with three residential units on the upper floors. As part of the project, a historic wood staircase was rebuilt from the first floor to the second floor and restored from the second to third floor.
