On November 10, the Rochester team gathered at the warehouse to conduct a safety training for field personnel. The training focused on key safety topics including excavation and trenching, fire extinguisher inspection, fire watch training, rigging awareness and fall protection.
Representatives from Hanes Supply Inc. and FallTech assisted with a fall demonstration to show how different lanyards protect and shorten a fall’s distance. They also demonstrated the correct way to inspect and adjust equipment before use.
The LeChase team continues to perform annual fall protection equipment inspections. So far this year, the process has removed over 30 fall harnesses and multiple lanyards on projects and in the warehouses. This effort ensures workers are properly protected when working at heights.
