The lobby of the Sands-Constellation Center for Critical Care will carry the LeChase name. On June 1, Rochester Regional Health dedicated the space, which includes a plaque honoring Wayne and Beverly LeChase as well as LeChase Construction Services.
The firm served as construction manager-at-risk for the 312,000-SF, seven-story center, which is located on the campus of Rochester General Hospital. One unique aspect of the building is that it has no front door. It can only be entered through the lobby – a former patient waiting room that was transformed into a gateway to the new facility. In addition to patients who will pass through to access the advanced services offered at the center, the lobby also provides a place where visitors can step out of the hospital setting to sit and reflect.
Wayne and Beverly LeChase attended the recent dedication ceremony, along with LeChase President Will Mack and Executive Vice President Kyle Sayers. LeChase CEO and Managing Partner Bill Goodrich spoke at the event.
