LeChase Corporate Diversity Manager Stephanie Pennington was a panelist at the recent 2021 New York State MWBE Forum.
Pennington joined women from other construction firms, builders’ organizations and state agencies for the session “Women in Construction: Building a Brighter Future.”
The panel’s topics included overcoming unique challenges for women in construction and strategies for retaining and promoting women. Panelists also discussed how businesses have navigated challenges from the pandemic.
The MWBE Forum gives minority and women-owned business enterprises (MWBEs) an annual opportunity to build professional connections. This year’s event occurred December 16 in Albany.
